1. Each group will be consist of a minimum of 6 persons and a maximum of 10 persons. If you do not want to join other trekkers, an individual trek can be arranged and you will be charged accordingly.
2. You will stay with hill tribes family in the village of the various tribes, sleeping on wooden or bamboo floors with no fanciful amenities. However, there will be clean water for showering, drinking and cooking and we will provide you with sleeping bag and rucksack, a water bottle which you have to carry during the trek. The porters will only carry the food and cooking utensils.
3. Treks are conducted through out the year but temperature varies :
November February 14 C 23 C Cool Season (Winter Season for Thai)
March June 28 C 35 C Dry Season (Summer Season for Thai)
July October 25 C 33 C Rainy Season
4. Your luggage and other items which you do not want to bring on trek and be kept in the hostel or hotel for safekeeping.
5. You are only required to bring your personal belongings like clothing, good walking shoes, slippers, raincoat, first aid kit, swimming suit, warm jacket etc..
6. The package will include transportation, accommodation, meal on trek included the first day lunch to the last day lunch. You will also be accompanied by a Thai Hill Tribes guide who speaks tribal languages, local dialects and has a good command of English to lead and assist the group. All our Thai Hill Tribes guide have Tourist Guide License from T.A.T.
7. You are advised to immune yourself against malaria. (Specially in June, July rainy season)

01 : Chiang
Mai Hill tribes (/L/D)
After your breakfast,
departure from your hotel by 4WD pick up truck, drive 30 mins up to the North
of Chiang Mai, stop & rest at the local market around 30 mins. Then drive
to the way to Pai about 1.30 hrs. We will have lunch at Shan hill tribes
village. After lunch we drive to the walking point to start our trek, we walk
around 30 mins. visit Mhong or Meo hill tribes village, after 1.30 hrs walk
pass through to the jungle and pass the rice field, overnight with Karen hill
tribes family ( Home Stay)
Day 02 : Hill Tribes Chiang Mai (B/L/)
After
Breakfast, we departure for the Karen village, we walk around 1 hrs. to the
elephant camp. We will riding on elephant around 1.30 hrs.see a nice beautiful
nature and we start to walk again 1.30 hrs. to visit waterfall, you will have a
nice time swimming & rest, lunch at the waterfall. Walk down to the hill
follow the stream for 1.30 hrs. Our 4 WD truck with pick us up to the rafting
camp. Then will will take 1 hrs. by bamboo rafting along a beautiful river.
Have a nice trip back your hotel at 17.00
.

Day 01:
Chiang Mai Hill Tribes(/L/D)
After your own breakfast at the hostel. Depart from Chiang Mai at 09.30 A.M.
to Northwest of Chiang Mai to Pai, Mae Hong Sorn area. Stop at the local market
and continue the trip to Meo Hill Tribes Village to have lunch. Then we start the trek for
3 hrs. to Karen hill tribes villages where we can learn about the hill tribes
life and their tradition and culture. The original in Mynmar (Burma) and they are the largest tribal minority in Thailand. And overnight at the Karen hill tribes villages.
Day 02: Hill
Tribes (B/L/D)
Breakfast, we walk to
elephant camp (1hrs.) We take an elephant ride through to the jungle around
1.30 hrs. We will have a good time at the waterfall and lunch here. After
we walk around 2 hrs to the Karen village and a good time with the hill tribes
and walk to our elephant camp nearby the village and we will overnight here.
Day 03: Hill Tribes Chiang Mai (B/L)
After breakfast, walk up
and down the hill for 2 hours to the Shan hill tribe village. In a pickup, you
will go to another Shan village where you will take your lunch. Then, after 10 mins.
driving, we will arrive in the bamboo rafting camp where you will raft along
the river for 1h half.
End of our trek. (around: 05.00
P.M.), transfer back to Chiang Mai International Youth Hostel.
